GREAT NEWS! Part 1

GREAT NEWS! My painting "Man with Infant" was accepted into the  2011 West Virginia Juried Exhibition! I'm getting the painting packed up tonight and shipping it out to the WV Cultural Center in Charleston tomorrow. The exhibition starts September 30th and runs till January 2, 2012 at the Stifel Arts Center in Wheeling, WV.  The reception is September 30th at 6:30 pm.

3 Emerging Artists Reception

Lauren and I were extremely happy with the great turnout at our reception for 3 Emerging Artists at Wesleyan's Sleeth Gallery with artist Martha Neaves. Thank you to everyone who attended the reception, engaged with the work, participated in the question & answer forum and made purchases. Thank you to Margo Davis for inviting us to participate as well as Chris and Aaron for all their help!






The show will be up until September 22nd. The gallery's hours are from 12:00 to 5:00 pm on weekdays.

Commissioned Piece

Ten Years of Good Art

Good news! My piece "Erisichthon and Metra" is currently on display at the show, Ten Years of Good Art, celebrating the tenth anniversary opening of the Elder Gallery of Charlotte, North Carolina. The show runs from July 15th through August 29th with a reception on Friday, July 15th from 6:00-8:00 pm.

Lauren Adams: Abstract in Nature

Lauren's work will be featured in the upcoming solo show "Lauren Adams: Abstract in Nature" at the Redbrick Gallery in Martinsburg, WV from May 21 through June 25. The reception is Saturday, May 21 from 4-7pm. I'm extremely proud of her and can't wait to see the show!

Philadephia Museum pics

Day 2 in Philly!!! Lauren Adams: Recent Works at the Slingluff Gallery!

Lauren's show, Lauren Adams: Recent Works is amazing! I couldn't be more proud of her! The Slingluff Gallery is a great space and the owners are awesome. The audience at the reception was incredibly receptive and interested in the work. We had a great time! Here's some pics of the show.
